Hi families! I am a Special Education teacher working in Chicago Public Schools and currently pursuing a masters degree in Social Work at UIUC. I have worked with kids at varying ages for most of my life. I started off as a babysitter and tutoring, made my way to the daycare setting, worked as a preschool teacher at a Gifted and Talented Program and have working in Chicago Public Schools the past four years. I have always enjoyed human growth and development, and the importance of social-emotional learning in addition to the academic component. I am a big life-long crafter and currently a new budding-gardener (hehe). I enjoy learning through hands-on exploration and providing my students with multiple ways of engagement.
