Although I have never worked officially as a caregiver, I am an aunt to 4(Triston, Parker, Silas, Savannah), godmother to 1(Izzy), and was a stepmom of sorts to 1(Seven) for 2 years. I decided to get into the field because I love children and spending time with them. My work experience is mainly food service, so I am definately capable of preparing meals and even teaching your child to cook. I have always been told I was a great teacher, I attribute it to my patience, ability to explain step easily, and I love coming up with word associations/jingles to help people remember things. As you may have noticed on my profile, I still live in Indiana. I love New York City and have a handful of my closest friends living there. I will be moving there in 6months or earlier depending on when I find a job. Also, do Read more not be put off by my small town orgins....I have lived in several cities since I was 20 and find NYC to be one of the most easily navagated(for me). I am not yet cpr and first aid certified, but I will be by the time I move there. Also, I love to paint/draw/play guitar/sing and would love to come up with daily activities for your child involving based around creativity.
