When I was 12 years old, my father owned a funeral home, and he was so tired of hiring and firing cleaning help, he decided to recruit me, because he had already trained me at home. That was my first cleaning gig. At that same time, our neighbors were experiencing a high turnover rate with high school babysitters, so they hired me to care for their 2 year old, and I was his primary babysitter until the end of high school. I went on to become a live-in caretaker for a disabled man at the age of 18 after high school. And the passion for cleaning and caregiving continued to grow. While I was a live-in care taker for this gentleman, I also worked days as a nanny and housekeeper for a family with 3 children; I cooked their meals, washed and put away laundry, changed linens, cleaned bathrooms, took Read more care of the kitchen, did yard work, took care of pets, ran errands, dropped and picked up kids from school, and even helped coordinate large family and social events. When I had my own child, my husband and I relocated so I could continue schooling to become licensed as a residential provider for special needs adults and kids. I started my own business in 2007 and took care of the in-home needs of these individuals until selling the business in 2014 so I could focus on another life passion of renovating a family restaurant and focusing on my specialty baking and event planning. I take great pride in sharing my love for organization, detail, care taking, and cleaning with other families. I have obtained a plethora of knowledge from my years of experience in homemaking, housekeeping, interior design, and care taking, and I look forward to sharing these gifts in your home.
