I am a mature passionate and dependable employee. Being a Nanny would be a wonderful combination of my skills and passions. My husband and I have 3 grown children between the two of us and have great respect for each other's passions. I live on a small farm in Kansas. My husband has always worked outdoors and we both enjoy our small little part of the world. My passion is caring for children and living an adventurous life and bringing all that exposure to the children and families I work with. I have enjoyed the high pace environment of caring for a family and found it very rewarding. Watching children grow and learn is an amazing experience. I have a passion for being an advocate for children and much of my experience has been working with children who have special needs. I have helped parents deal with defiance disorder, dyslexia, emotional distress, trauma; the special needs of adopted, foster, and biological children. Helping children find peace within themselves and finding gratitude for what they have is immensely rewarding. I enjoy finding interesting places and things for children to do. I have an ability to make connections with people and am able to quickly develop relationships with adults and children. I come from a large Native American family. Children and our elders are the most important part of our society. I take my family experience and use those values in my work as a nanny. I have a native traditional mindset when it comes to raising children. Teaching by example and allowing a child to grow and experience the world while always being mindful of their safety. Mindfulness and calmness are wonderful ways for all humans to learn how to self-manage and cope with the world around them.
