Hi! I’m Claire! I have worked with children most of my life, and working in early childhood/infant care is my passion! have 20+ years experience as a former babysitter, nanny, au pair, teachers aide, etc. I have studied CD and taken several development and safety classes over the years, and I am CPR certified. I have worked with several families who I still keep in touch with to this day. If we work together long term, you find we will become an extended family too. (It really does take a village!) I have many years experience working with infants and kids of all ages as a babysitter and nanny. I have worked for single/multi child families, and love to be of support however I can! I also have experience working with special needs children, and children with autism. A little about me: KC born and raised! I am the oldest Read more of two much younger siblings, and I guess you could say I was a born care taker who’s always been very maternal at heart. I started babysitting outside of the family when I was very young, and I knew at a young age I would love to work with kids as my career. Eventually I would like to get my masters in child development. Some fun facts about me: -I enjoy volunteering with KC Pet Project and a care home for senior dogs. I have fostered senior dogs with my family for many years. -I love to travel, read, and love music and art. -I am a big time plant lover/gardener, and often seek the opportunity to be outside (especially with the kids! ) -I’m an active person and love any opportunity to get out and explore! The families I work for ultimately end up having a very big and very special place in my heart forever. I am the former nanny who still attends games and birthdays for the kids I worked with in college, and it’s one of my greatest honors to still be in their lives. I am always honest, reliable, organized, timely, and trustworthy as an employee. At the same time, I am very loving, patient, encouraging, positive, active and energetic with my approach to working with children. If you think we could be a great match, I’d love to speak further and get to know more about your family! Thanks for reading!
