Hello! My name is Marlayna - I am a mother, educator, and caregiver! Right now I am hoping for a position near Lyons. I have been working in childcare "officially" (paid) for about 9 years, but really since my mom opened a daycare when I was 7 - I fell in love with early childhood education and have been wiping noses ever since! I have my Bachelor's degree in Education, was a teacher in the childcare center where I earned my degree, have worked and substituted at several daycares in the Paola area, and have worked as a tutor and student teacher in public schools at all grade levels. Most recently, I have been working as a nanny while co-owning a family daycare in Paola, however I had to leave these positions when I moved to Lyons in May.
