My mother had a home daycare from the time I was born until I was eleven years old. I grew up helping with the babies and kids she took care of. When I was twelve years old, I started babysitting an infant after school for a mother that taught in-home music lessons. Then, when I was a sophomore in high school, a friend of my mom's was having trouble finding reliable care for her newborn, so I enrolled in online classes so I could become their nanny.
