I have been providing care for children of all ages since I was 12 years old. I have experience with every age group including children with special needs. In addition to a full time nanny position I am available for date night and/or overnight babysitting. I have nannied during my college summer breaks, provided overnight care multiple times, and babysat for 10 years. For one family I provided care for 4 children for 6 nights and 5 days while their parents traveled to Mexico for vacation. I've also traveled to Arizona with a family of two children while their father attended Spring Training. My favorite experiences in providing child-care have been working with multiples and seeing them develop from 2 months old to now being 5 years old. Those initial memories of tummy time and making sure they developed muscles on the right side of their necks are sweet, sweet Read more memories now as I watch them run, draw, color, and ask questions about the world. I love children- their curiosity and zest for life is so contagious. I love providing opportunities for them to learn and grow and to do the same alongside them! My patience, encouraging and understanding attitude, as well as my willingness to be silly allows me to connect with children very easily. Providing support and encouragement to children is so important as they develop their sense of self and perspective of the world around them. In addition to loving kids, I am first aid, CPR, and heart-saver certified. I have volunteered in hospital and clinical settings both domestically and abroad. I am comfortable with providing these services as well as caring for kiddos when they are sick. My family is extremely important to me and so I treat all of the children I work with as my own family.
