My name is Rhonda. I am 55 years old. All my life, I have been working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I started by taking care of my younger siblings. I babysat as a teenager, while in college, and for several years before teaching. I was part of vocational childcare while in high school. I have experience working in childcare facilities. I taught in classroom settings, and I raised my children. I have my CPR certification and I'm willing to add First Aid as well. I am now at a place in my life where I want to make a career change and retire as a teacher. Some words that parents use to describe me are positive, energetic, creative, flexible, nurturing, compassionate, and very organized. With several years of teaching experience, I am confident that I will make significant contributions to working with the family. Teaching has also provided me the experience and ability to motivate and work with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. As a mother, I believe that I have accomplished the goal that I am most proud of, raising two very successful sons as a single parent. My oldest son owns his own basketball coaching business, and my youngest son is currently getting his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. The most important thing to me in a babysitting-family partnership is for me to do all things necessary to ensure my family feels confident that their child/children are well taken care of in their absence.
