Hi Family, My name is Aqeelah, here is a little about myself and my experience with children. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Sociology. After college I started my own business which allowed me to bring joyful experiences to people from diverse groups, cultures and backgrounds. Not long after, I became a substitute teacher working with children and this has been my greatest joy so far. My past experience involves working with ages 4-13, while also being capable of caring for infant children. Putting myself in the shoes of someone who not only teaches children but learns with children, has helped me discover my purpose in caring for them. It is my duty as a nanny not only to care for them, protect them, and nurture them, but also to show them the wonders their world around them has to offer.
