Hello! I am a well seasoned child care, pet care, senior care, and home/life maintenance provider. I have been babysitting/caring for young children from birth to 12 years of age since I was 13 years old. Throughout my 4 years in high school, I worked in the childcare center M-F with children ages 2-5. We taught them everything they needed to know for Kindergarten as it was a Preschool run through the high school Early Childhood Class. While in high school I also volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club and the Girls Club. I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Child Development and Family Relations in December 2019 from Tennessee Technological University. While attending TTU I also received my Qualification B Assessor Certification for children birth to 18 years of age. I also volunteered time at a local Head Start. I currently work at Youth Villages Non-Profit in the Read more Foster Care Department full-time and work as an Independent Home Study Contractor/Writer through Harmony Family Center part-time/during my free time. I am deeply passionate about working with children of all ages and have a desire to be a guiding light in their lives! As for my experience with pets, I was always raised around animals,. Growing up we had dogs and quite a few cats, as well as hamsters and mice. I deeply love pets and currently have 2 of my own, a hound mix and a special needs pit-bull. I am very open to caring for pets in any capacity, but will be honest that I am deathly afraid of snakes and spiders! I would love to provide care to any pets in need of walking, feedings, grooming, etc. I do have a background with working with adults, the elderly, and keeping homes/businesses well maintained and cleaned as well. I worked in the service industry throughout high school and college. I developed great knowledge and skills when working with people of all ages, being in high stress situations, and ensuring the environment remain well clean and clutter free. I am available to work with people of all ages due to my past work and the knowledge I gained throughout college working towards my degree. I am also very open to helping with home maintenance/cleaning, running errands, being an open and honest ear, etc. Thank you for your time!
