I recently made a decision to pursue full-time work for a season after attending college full-time at a Christian college in southern Tennessee. I am playing my instruments (violin and guitar) much more frequently because it is my dream to one day become a full-time musician, worship artist and songwriter. I have a lot of experience working with children, from babysitting in middle and high school to watching my good friend’s two-year-old son every weekend, to most recently, babysitting in the nursery at my church as a weekly, paid position. I am extremely reliable, with a reputation among my friends as the one they can count on to pick them up if they don’t have a ride and someone who is “very good at getting things done,” as one of my best friends told me yesterday. While I do like to make sure everything is safe and in order, I Read more also like to have fun with the children I babysit, lifting them up in the air to make them smile, taking them to parks if their parents allow, and doing crafts and playing music for them. I try to make the most out of any experience life gives me, and I am currently working on bettering my Spanish language skills so that I can lend my hand to the Spanish-speaking community.
