My name is Cathy and I have been working with children for over 30 years. My grandmother was the director of the First United Methodist Nursey School in Santa Monica, California where I would spend days playing and reading to children starting at the age of 13. I nannied for 6 month old twins in the summer of my junior year of high school and for two older children full time the following summer. In college I worked at Greenlake After School Program in Seattle as a teaching assistant for ages 5-12 years my junior and senior years. In the summers during college I traveled back to California where I worked again at the nursery school as a teacher for the three year old group. They are such a joy and I find happiness in helping provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.
