I became a licensed child-care provider in Minnesota when my middle child was going through medical issues. I decided to stay at home with her and my oldest son and started my own child-care business. Along came my third child, and I thought I would continue child-care until he was in school full time. Well that was 12 years ago, as I loved my job so much that I continued to be a licensed provider until he just graduated from high school. I would still be a provider, but decided to move to Florida and closed my daycare after 20 years. I still love kids, and would be very interested in providing care to Florida youngsters as a nanny. I am CPR and First Aid trained, as well as having the honor of being nominated as a Minnesota Provider of the Year.
