I have been professionally caring for children for fige years, but coming from a big family, I've been taking care of kids all my life. I have experience with all age groups, primarily infants, toddlers, and KG-2nd grade, to which I can provide many references. I enjoy babysitting during the day, although I'm available for evenings as well. I love keeping kids active and taking them to do activities, i. e. (trips to the arts and crafts store, animal shelter, arboretum, kids gymnasium, etc..). When caring for a child, I believe the positive energy you bring will draw them towards you and create a bond. I seek to create a space that feels safe and free for children to flourish and be themselves. When working with children ages 8+, my main objective is to become their friend and facilitate them in whatever tasks I may be of assistance. I also Read more like to work with this age group and focus on youth empowerment by helping them find their passions and help create building blocks towards their dreams, encourage academic success, and push their creativity. Giving young teens a safe space to feel understood is of the utmost importance to me. *I ask that parents provide me with food preferences, day/sleeping schedules, health restrictions, as well as any other information you deem imperative or beneficial prior to my arrival so that if need be, I can prepare accordingly!
