I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ella. There was an immediate positive interaction when she met our (now) 4-year-old daughter, and we hired her to fulfill our need for a Nanny/Sitter. As a parent, there can be a certain sense of apprehension when your child goes off with someone other than you for the first time, but there was none of that with Ella. Her responsibilities included pick up/drop off of our daughter at school, dance class, and other activities, cooking, laundry for our daughter, some light cleaning/tidying/dishes, reinforcing our household rules, assisting with potty training, and helping to keep our daughter on her daily schedule. How Ella did this, however, was nothing short of incredible. She provided us updates throughout the day of how/what our daughter was doing, went the extra mile to bring up areas of concern and ask us how we would like her to approach them, took the initiative to plan activities, play dates, and other day trips for our daughter, and quickly became a part of both our family, and the extended family of our school/church. More telling, though, is that Ella took time out of her own schedule to attend dance recitals, birthday parties, and school functions with us, much to the delight of our daughter. Our one regret is that we could not convince her to come with us when we had to move for work!

Ella was fantastic with my two girls (ages 2 and 4)! We greatly appreciated her flexibility, composure, expertise, and honesty. I highly recommend her.

My daughter REALLY liked Ella. I'll never forget one day, both of us heard the front door click open meaning Ella had arrived. My daughter was just under 12 months, but she apparently knew what that sound meant (that alone was a surprise), and scooched around the corner with one of the sweetest, most content smiles I'd ever seen her have. That smile spoke volumes. While we only worked with Ella for six weeks, it felt like forever. She just blended right in. She was very helpful, obviously LOVES kids, took my girl to the park, played lots of games, and even read a book I had on games for kids that I didn't have time to read. She was almost always on-time (the few times she wasn't, she always contacted me). I REALLY trusted her. We miss Ella. If she hadn't moved away, we would most definitely have wanted to continue working with her. Whoever gets to work with her is very lucky.

Ella is a wonderful babysitter. She has a great rapport with our almost three-year-old daughter, she's punctual, and she goes with the flow. I feel like there's been some kind of craziness each time she's babysat, but Ella was a calming presence. We would highly recommend her!

I am SO sad to find out Ella is moving away! She has watched my son from the ages of 3 months to about 8 months. From the get-go, she physically handled Daniel well, which you want when you leave someone with your infant. I am always impressed by the obvious research she's done on baby development, particularly when I come home to hear what little skills they worked on, whether it's tummy time or playing with mirrors. I also appreciate Ella's honesty on whether Daniel was cranky, understanding an upset baby is not always a reflection of the caretaker (as we parents know!). Ella is punctual and professional and, when you have a regular gig with her, does a great job of checking in with you after vacations, etc. Highly recommend!

We absolutely recommend Ella! She has such an amazing warm personality, that the children flock to her. We hired Ella to work at my 3 year old's preschool. She immediately fit right in- all the parents loved her and the children adored her! Thanks for being so wonderful!!! Kim

Ella has watched our 2 two boys (5 year old and 2.5 yrs old) two times now and we will book with her again. The boys had great fun with her. The 1st night she watched the boys she read almost all the books they have in their playroom, more than an hours worth! Ella is flexible, courteous and fun. Thanks Ella!

My son just loved Ella. She played games with my him and in his words, "she was really fun and very kind." She also always arrived on time and left the house in nice condition. I was traveling overseas, so she took the initiative and time to give me an update via email on what she and my son did that day/evening and how he seemed. I would certainly recommend Ella.

Ella has taken care of our kids ( 3 year old and 10 month old) three times now and we look forward to calling her again. She is punctual, courteous, responsible, and the kids have a lot of fun with her. The first time she sat for us our kids both had minor colds and couldn't go to their regular daycare - Ella immediately made us feel comfortable that the kids would be well looked after. And she had no fear of runny noses! Last weekend, she watched them while I went to a baby shower. When I got home Ella was in the rocking chair with both kids on her lap reading them stories. Our daughter gave her a big hug before she left. Thanks Ella!

I highly recommend Ella. She watched our 20 month old daughter. Ella has such a great personality and is very professional. Shortly after contacting her, Ella gave me a call to talk through the details of watching our daughter. She arrived on time and even planned to come a little early to review all the details and get to know our daughter. After first meeting Ella, I immediately felt at ease that our daughter would be in good hands. She was flexible on time and didn't mind that our event ran a little longer than planned. At the end of the evening, Ella gave us a recap of how things went, what they did together and how much our daughter had for dinner. We liked her so much, she came back the next night to watch our daughter again.
