To me, it is important to give children many opportunities to get messy, touch a worm, climb up the slide and things many might think gross or unsafe because, with proper supervision, they have more sensory opportunities in nature, and are learning different motor skills through experience. I like to keep things fun and entertaining, so as to peak curiosity and encourage exploration and creativity. Some activities I enjoy doing are crafts, making picnics and going to the park, going to the museum, drawing with side walk chalk, dancing, and games.
