Growing up my sister and I both became babysitters at a young age. We had several great job opportunities. We had both been home schooled which allowed us the flexibility to watch children on days when they were sick and couldn't go to school as well as when children were too young to attend school. I loved my job. The kids and I daily created new and fun games to keep us moving and interactive. I came up with a token concept for the kids to use for "electronic time" on the TV, computer, or game systems. When they ran out of tokens they were out until the next 2 week cycle started. They could also earn tokens via doing their chores or an extra reading assignment etc. I am strict and structured but love to have fun! I believe children rise to whatever expectations are set before them. I Read more have two girls of my own now and their education is my top priority. I currently work as an assistant manager but miss having time with my own girls. I would love to get back into a job watching kids. I am very creative and love to do craft projects! When I was 11 I was hired as a Nanny for a little boy I watched every summer for the next three years. I did dishes, cooked meals, helped him with school books designed to get him ready for upcoming school years. We played board games (another personal favorite) and set up a daily routine which is so vital to a growing child's daily needs. We had rules set by the parents and worked daily to create great memories. I was also hired to watch three children later on in life. I left Nanny work behind me as I went into college and got into Management positions with almost every job I have had since due to my sense of responsibility and capability. I am willing to help with laundry, dishes, meals, potty training, basic school prep, etc. As a single mother of two I personally understand how hard it is to find someone in this crazy world to trust your most precious gifts in life with. I have two beautiful girls of my own and would treat yours no differently than I would expect mine to be treated. Please let me join your family as well. I would love to talk to you.
