I am opening up my services as both a babysitter or nanny, as an in-home childcare (alongside my own children.) I am 31 years old. Mother of two (4 and 1 year olds)! My husband and I have been together for 5 years now! He is forwarding his full-time career, away from home. We also have one dog. I work from home too but mostly provide part-time homeschooling and child care to my own kids. A little about me and why caring for children is my passion: Even as a little girl, my very first job was a babysitter/nanny. I had many families I worked for - all ages. At 12 years old, I was very proactive with kids. I also obtained my Certification for Emergency Medical Technician - you can feel fully confident I am well trained at CPR, choking, and many emergency crises! Tutoring Services! Worked many years with Grade Potential Tutoring. A small dream of mine was to always be a teacher. Probably why I enjoyed tutoring so much. Here me out: Being a nanny is more than a daycare. I have been inspired to run a certified preschool or daycare but never wanted the high volume. I aim to provide that one-on-one attention a young child needs. i.e. soothing for naps, attention to illness or diapering needs, cleanliness, proper clothing attire for weather. It's all about the fun and playing - this is what young children crave! BUT we must also learn manners and how to play well with others along the way. I am hugely focused on eating well too! As a mother, my main concern has always been focused on the health of the child - both physical and mental. I am hugely aware of how important healthy nutritious meals and snacks are along with hydration. My kids are helping in the kitchen at a young age! I like to get them involved - It is both fun and important. Mental approaches - I use gentle parenting methods, yes or no and offer options, really good at dealing with emotions and acceptable consequences for any tantrums.
