Hi I’m Stephanie! I’m 31 years young and I’ve been working with children since I was 16. I started out sitting on weekends then I was accepted into the DECA program at my high school. The program allowed me to leave after half the day and work at a Childcare Center with all ages. I then realized that working with children was perfect for me! Working with kids is so fun for me. I love all their little (and BIG) personalities, I love helping them learn new things, and seeing them smile and have a good time. Children are so much better to work with than adults in my opinion, they have not been jaded by the world and it’s the little things that make them happy! I’m currently taking a Newborn Care Specialist course as well as Sleep Conditioning. I have worked with all ages, including newborns and special Read more needs children. I also have experience working with children who have Cerebral Palsy, Seizures, Diabetes, Autism/Asperger’s, ADD/ADHD, and severe allergies. I am CPR and first aid certified through the American Red Cross and have trained in seizure first aid. I have experience using G tubes, Glucometers, Epipens, insulin pens, dispensing medications as well as giving allergy and insulin injections. I’ve worked children on potty training and other routines such as nap, bedtime, and sleeping in their own bed. I love my job when the kids are happy but also when their parents know they are taken care of and do not have to worry! If you have any questions please ask.
