My name is Arletha Head I have over 20 years of childcare experience and 5 years of Child Development Education from College and Community organizations looking to strengthen the skills of Childcare workers. Im 39 yrs of age and Ive worked with children since I was a teenager. I have 3 children of my own ages 21,19, and 5. I recently got married and moved to Alexandria La and I'm looking to service the parents of my community and other neighboring communities with Childcare, Mentoring & Tutoring Services to aide in helping our children to grow into whole healthy positive productive member of their community's. I created MODE in Chicago Illinois in hopes of aiding in the betterment of the community in which I resided. Im seeking to reestablish MODE in Alexandria. MODE gives small donations to new mothers and children through several programs such as its Welcome To The Read more Journey Of Motherhood GRADE (GRACEFULLY REWARDING ACADEMIC DEDICATION EVENT) Where Chidren are recognized and acknowledged for their efforts and achievements in school by their community. The School Supply Refresher Event which is hosted in the middle of the school year. MODE helps advance communication and literacy skills of infants, toddlers and school aged children through its READERS ON THE MOVE Program, which is a traveling literacy program. MUSEUMS LIBRARIES AQUARIUMS ART EXHIBITS PLAY LANDS ARE ALL BE EXPLORED. MODE believes Reading Eradicates Mental Obstacles Through Education. MODEs also offers a financial literacy program KNOW THY MONEY is designed to teach mothers and children the importance of budgeting, saving and investing their money in themselves. MODE believes the more we know about our money the more we can do with our money. to create streams of generational wealth. MODE is (MOMMY'S ON DUTY EVERYDAY).
