I have been taking care of my friends and family's children for a little over six years. I love working with kids and helping them accomplish there goals. If their goal is putting a small puzzle together to finishing a paper or assignment for school them I will help them work through it. Each child I care for is different in some way and I always change the way I teach or watch over them to match their personalty. You may have a child that likes to be independent I would mounter them and give them help but more so indirectly then directly. You could also have a child that is more hands on and I could and would work with them a little closer but as I am doing that I would start showing them that they to can accomplish things with out someone always helping them.
