Hi, My name is Kalea Cook, and I heard you are looking for a nanny! I would love to be considered for this position. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am 19 years old and a junior vocal performance major at Xavier University of Louisiana. I am a resident of uptown New Orleans, Louisiana and I have nannied for a few families in the area. I have also worked in the past as a counselor for the Jewish Community Center on St.Charles, an after school art and theater teacher for Bricolage Academy, and a Classroom Assistant for Upturn Arts. I can speak some Spanish (semi-fluent) and play and teach piano. I am a student during the day time hours but I am done with class on MWF by 1:50 PM and by 2:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays so that I can assist with school pick ups, Read more etc. During the summer, on weekends, and during holiday breaks I am available all day. In fact, due to Covid-19 the semester will be ending after Thanksgiving so I am free all day after that as well. I am open to going on trips and I am willing to be as flexible as possible as I have been looking to do some afternoon/ late night work because I feel as though it works best with my school schedule. I have a driver's license and I am currently working towards getting a car of my own, it is hopeful that I will have this handled by the end of July/ beginning of August.
