I started babysitting at 17 to help my aunt with her 4 kids (1 with hearing loss, 1 with complete deafness) for 2 years while she was able to stabilize her career and was then able to babysit a 5 year old toddler with autism for a year. I loved both experiences because I was able to understand/adapt to each child's needs and give peace of mind to the parents as well! I enjoy making meals and prepping snacks as needed. I have learned ASL and Spanish for easier communications. I have a CPR certification card as well as a Food Safety Manager certification. I strive to be a reliable babysitter that kids and parents both feel safe with!!
