I've attended the needs of children 0-12 years of age during the duration of past jobs. There was never a set amount of hours in my previous jobs, and I worked according to the schedule of parents or guardians of the children. The needs of said children included, but is not limited to, the following: feeding and/or cooking, picking up and/or cleaning, dressing children, occupying time in creative and playful ways, attending the child at all times, etc. While still instilling parental guidelines and discipline, creating a trustworthy and safe vibe for the children and family is a priority for me. I now attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and my schedule does not permit me as much flexibility, I am however completely available on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons.
