There's something about that moment something just 'clicks' in a child's mind for the first time that totally captivates me. Whether it's watching them learn to blow raspberries or read a word, it never stops being simply magical.. Aside from being part of a large family and having a 6 month old daughter of my own, I also spent 5 years in the childcare field as a toddler and preschool teacher. During those years I learned a lot from my piers and I am equipped with curriculum activities to last a lifetime! I believe structure and free play both have a time and place in the day. I'm big on field trips and making our own meals. There's a lot to learn in AND out of the home! I am married and left the school I was at to move to Florida where we cared for my mother in law.
