Meet Lori

Hello, Ever since I was a child I have always loved children.I started off babysitting when I was 12 years old. When I was 15 I started working after school at my younger brothers child Care center.I loved going to work. This is when I truly new just what I wanted to do,and that was to go to college when I graduated from high school.I started off going to Framigham State studying Early Childhood Education.I continued taking classes and received my Teachers Certificate in Early Childhood Education.I worked at Metro west Child Care Center for 8 years working with Infants and Toddlers. I started working At Next Generations Child Care Center as a Lead Teacher in a classroom working with kids at the age of three.I was also a Infant Toddler Supervisor I continued taking classes over the years became Lead Teacher Certified,Taking Classes through out the years has taught me so Read more much, especially creativity... Children love to learn and through imagination and creativity can make learning enjoyable to both child and caregiver.First Aid and CPR was a must. When Working with children at young ages They need to feel the love. The hugs, the kisses, the praise and positive reinforcement is so so important.I was very lucky as I had the pleasure of being with my own children while I worked. That to me was such a blessing. As My kids got older and were now in Kindergarten and 1st grade I had my 3rd child. This is when I made the choice To Stay home and be a nanny.I Had a family from the school, who was looking for a nanny do to the fact she just had her second child and did't want to put her 6 week old baby in child care center. So This is when I started caring for children out of my home.Yes I was very busy everyday..I was caring for a newborn and her 3 year old sister along with my newborn son and another baby who was going on a year.I LOVED IT... I did this for 4 years...As the kids got older and soon ready for public schools I missed my babies as they had now moved on to the next chapter in there lives.I remained in contact with all the families I cared for and would occasionally do last minute child care,Weekends,We had become so close that our families would have dinners or plan special occasions (trip to the zoo,the beach). So hard to believe that I now have a 20 year old,18 year old and 11 year old..I still to this day keep in touch with the families that I consider part of my family.I'm hoping to find the perfect family to care and love there child like I do my own.
