Hi. My name is Samantha. Ive been a nanny, on and off, for 25 years. In that time I also raised my own 2 boys. My oldest is now a US Marine and youngest is presently in the US Navy!! I'm so proud! Anyway, my latest child is now off to camp and then preschool. I miss him so much already. I'm not really good at talking about myself but please feel free to ask me anything. I have excellent references and personal recommendations. I'm new to this site and have had a hard time with responding so feel free to call my home... Hope to hear from you and good luck in your search!!

There were a bunch of little bad choices she made that really added up, but really only two deal breakers. First and foremost, she let my 12 month old cry in his crib for up to an hour. I found him in his crib balling hysterically and burping, which is what he does when he's been crying hard for an extended period of time. Nor did she turn on his monitor to be able to hear him balling his head off. I wasn't expecting her to need to put him down so I didn't inform her of any routines, nor did I receive any texts asking about routine or asking where his monitor was so she could keep an ear on him. The only texts I received from her were about our Netflix not working for her after the kids went to bed. The second thing was observing her pulling a very dangerous u-turn in front of my house causing all the cars around her to slam on their brakes and blast their horns at her. I was horrified because I almost had her drive my kids somewhere, a service she said she was comfortable with.
