I am 28 years old and hold a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have worked in childcare over the past 10 years with children of various ages (infant-12 years) in several different settings including child care centers, schools, summer camp, and home settings as a nanny and sitter. I am currently working as a full time nanny for a family with two lovely girls and have been with them for almost 3 years. Prior to this job, I traveled to Australia where I worked as a live in nanny for a family for 7 months. I have also held jobs in a couple childcare centers, substituted at elementary/middle school, and at a summer camp was in charge of the activities for the 6-year-old campers.  Working with children is a passion of mine and a job that I enjoy spending my time doing. I think that my personality helps me to work well with children as I can be silly and fun, while also responsible and assertive when needed. I especially work well with infants/toddlers because of my compassionate, soothing, and playful nature.  I think that good communication and collaboration with parents is vital to uphold family values and goals for the children. I also know that parents like to know about and see their children's growth and what they are doing in their day to day activities.
