Hello! My name is Selina. I have been working with kids for years now. I started out helping at a local daycare throughout middle school and then after high school, I was a bus monitor for Van Pool Transportation for a year. I worked with kids who had physical, mental, and behavioral disabilities and made sure they were always safe to and from school everyday. Later on, I was a nanny for 2 families who had a 11, 7, 4, and 1-year-olds. Due to an unexpected move, I had to leave both families because the commute was too long. I was a nanny for another 5 and 1. 5-year-old for 5 weeks while the family looked for a permanent au pair. Last year, I worked with a 9-month-old and I was with him since he was almost 3 months old. When my time with him came to end at the Read more beginning of August, I helped out families I previously worked with while there was gaps in between camps ending and school starting. Most recently, I worked with a 4 month old baby boy but unfortunately the family decided I was no longer needed due to the mother stepping back from work. I am now looking for something long term where I can develop a relationship with not only the child but the family as well. I am CPR/ FirstAid certified, though I have never had to use either while caring for kids and hope to keep it that way. I am also fully vaccinated and boosted. I enjoy engaging kids and take care of every kid in my care as my own. I love music, arts and crafts, Disney, and going outside and exploring!
