Hello everybody! My name is Rinara and I am looking for a new family to work for starting in September. I don’t drive but live in the city (seaport) walking distance to most neighborhoods in the city and have years of experience taking the T. I have 7+years of babysitting experience and 4 in Boston. I cpr/first aid certified and have my booster and flu shot. I can provide strong references from longterm families I’ve worked with in the area. I have experience with children as young as 1 and as old as 12. Currently I’ve been caring for toddlers for the past 3 years and would like to stick to this age group. I love working with toddlers and helping with their developmental growth and planning activities and outings! I love being outside. I’m very comfortable taking a stroller on the subway and some places I enjoy going to Read more are the childrens museum, aquarium, science museum, boston public library. I’m always looking for fun local activities and discovering new playgrounds to bring the little ones to. I enjoy the little lovage playroom and group classes! I love walks in the public garden and going on the carousel and swan boats. Some of my favorite playgrounds in the city are the christopher Columbus park, Clarendon st park, myrtle st playground, and Carleton just to name a few. As well as outdoor play time I also think it’s important to help with their cognitive development. I enjoy practicing numbers, abcs, memorizing colors. Practicing fine motor skills with Montessori style toys, block building, puzzles, drawing and independent feeding. Helping them develop their imagination and thinking skills with imaginative play (pretend to cook, play shop). As well as language skills by always conversating and introducing them to new words. I love reading and doing story time. Some of my favorite books are “The gruffalo”, “Little blue truck”, and “guess how much I love you”. I love to dance and sing. Im not afraid to be silly and roll around! I am fluent in Portuguese, and English therefore I am also able to understand some spanish! I love introducing children to new languages and would love to teach them some basic Portuguese. I have experience with nap and bedtime routines and find it important for children to have a schedule.
