Hi! My name is Paige, I’m 22 years old, and I’m looking to put my skills in trauma-informed, development-based childcare practices to use. I’ve spent my undergraduate education studying child development and therapeutic intervention techniques, and I have been continuing those studies at Boston College’s Master of Social Work program. I am currently taking a one-year leave of absence from my program while I gain some practical experiences with children and families. I also possess a bachelor’s degree in Writing and Rhetoric. I offer experience as a full-time Youth Care Worker for the SAFE Alliance, a licensed foster-care agency serving as a placement for youth in the system. I have also served in a number of volunteer roles, including that of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for CASA of Travis County and as a Play Care Leader at Austin Child Guidance Center. I possess certifications in First Aid, CPR, Trauma-Informed Care, and a number of other child-welfare domains. I have undergone a number of background checks for my previous positions, including a federal fingerprint background check. I have a driver’s license, a car, and upon request, I can also provide a Motor Vehicle Report. I have a passion for working with children and am eager for the opportunity to aid parents as they work to provide a loving, supportive, and fun childhood for their children.
