I have a lot of experience working as an after-school teacher, a religious school teacher, babysitter, and nanny. Being an artist and graphic designer, I am creative and fun; I often do art projects or other creative activities with the children I babysit for. I also like to find out what a child's hobbies are and tailor activities to that child's interests. My attitude is, "Let's go to the park and play outside, or, let's do a science or art project!" versus "let's stay inside and watch TV." I have worked with many children of different ages over the years, from infants to junior high school kids. My experience has been that children respond openly and positively to me yet also respect me. I've been busy with grad school recently but would really like to get back into babysitting because I miss working with kids. I am also open to Read more doing some cooking and light housework.
