Hello! My name is Katie and I have been working with children since high school! Growing up my family did foster care and we always had at least 3 kids (a max of 4) and they were toddler age. I always helped my mom and I did that until I graduated high school. My first job I started volunteering and then was offered a paid position at the age of 16. I worked as a coteacher for an after school center that had children aged 7-12 with disabilities. When I was about 20 I started working with kids again as a lead teacher at an after school program for 1st and 2nd graders. I worked at a pediatric office for about a year and I am now currently at a daycare in the infant room.
