I began as a nanny back in 2017. Since starting, I’ve mainly worked with newborns and children 4 and under. I am currently looking to transition from a nanny to a Newborn Care Specialist. Prior to nannying, I had years of experience from being a second mom to my nephew from birth to 14 and also doing some babysitting here and there. In Nov of 2021, I became involved in fostering through DCF. I got placement of a then 3 month old girl. She is now 2.5 and I have since become her legal guardian. I had made the decision in Feb 2022 to stay home and give her the same care and attention I would give to the families I worked for. That turned out to be the best decision as she is now happy and thriving! She recently started daycare though so I’m looking to get back to Read more what I love to do. My certifications include: Newborn Care Expert Training (through Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny) Advanced Newborn Care Training (Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny) CPR, Choking & Infant Emergencies (Boston Baby Nurse & Nanny) CPR/AED - Adult, Child & Infant (through American AED CPR Association) I am also open to babysitting jobs outside of a full time job. I love spending time being silly and interacting with the kids! Depending on age, crafts and reading are always a favorite.
