Hi! My name is Lynda Bachman, I am 26 years old and currently earning my Masters in Theatre Education at Emerson College. I am also working as a Jewish Learning Guide at Temple Beth Shalom in Needham. I have lots of child care experience and a strong background in informal education. I am looking for steady or intermittent babysitting work to earn some extra income while I am in school. I started babysitting and tutoring in high school, in addition to working part-time at a day care center. As an undergrad at Brandeis University I babysat for a family in Newton. I have experience caring for children ages 0-16. I spent seven summers as a counselor and later as a supervisor at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. I know all about getting a group of rowdy 12-year old girls to bed on time every night, and I have a large repertoire of Read more creative games and activities at my disposal.  Since graduating from Brandeis University with dual degrees in Theatre Education and Sociology, I have worked as a teaching artist in San Francisco for various arts institutions including San Francisco Opera and Berkeley Playhouse. I would be delighted to not only take care of your children, but have a great time with them while I am at it. I enjoy singing, craft projects, theatre games, hiking, and I love to bake and cook.  Personally, I keep kosher (I am comfortable eating vegetarian food in non-kosher establishments), but I am more than happy to cook dinner for your kids and I can preparing pretty much anything.
