I am a former Brookline first grade teacher with more than 16 years of experience of teaching all kinds of children including those on the autism spectrum, ADHD, trauma, and learning disabilities. I believe that kids, especially young children, should have the right to play and do best when given the time and space to create something from nothing. I have recently given up my job to pursue a career as a Reiki practitioner. I have my own business and work part-time as the Reiki practitioner at a local hospital and a few assisted living homes. I am interested in being a care companion and/or nanny because finding a connection with others not only brings me joy, it's something with which I have extensive experience and skill.
