I have worked as a lead teacher in a daycare for 2 years. I then got my license to teach in a public school pre-k to 2nd grade. I recently finished my student teaching at Hansen Elementary in Canton, and did math tutoring for the school I student taught at. I use to be in retail and was a manager. I quickly realized after having my first little girl that the class room is where I wanted to be. I want to help make a difference in my students lives and create a place where children feel safe and secure while receiving the best education. I recently had my second little one and am looking to nanny in the home so that I may keep my little one out of daycare. While watching the children I enjoy creating fun projects that go along with themes for the months and seasons. I have been in the childcare/teaching field for 3 years now and my oldest daughter is 5. I grew up in a large family and was the second oldest so I have always been around children and helped out. I am extremely patient and believe that positive reinforcement works. Children need consistency and routine to feel safe and secure. I am dependable and great with keeping a routine that helps the children.
