I have 18 plus years experience in the childcare area. I have been a mothers helper, babysitter, camp counselor, and a part-time, live-in, and full-time nanny for a few families from 2007-present. I have been happily married for 7 years now and a mother to a wonderful almost 4 year old boy. PLEASE NOTE: I am expecting my second baby come October and will be on maternity leave until January. I will be looking for a possible new position after leave, and one I will want to bring along my baby as well. Other than being a mother, I am crafty, energetic, creative, responsible, caring, have a sense of humor, and nurturing to name a few. In my spare time I love spending time with my family whether that involves being outdoors, museums, libraries, family movie nights, and traveling to see other family members and friends. Besides being in the childcare industry, I am also an Interior Designer and do small freelance projects from time to time. I have my BFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute located in NYC where I graduated in 2009. Being a nanny for a handful of families and for different age groups, I have gained knowledge in fundamental and appropriate milestones and development stages, and utilize them effectively along with the support of the parents. I am all about being on a team along with the parents, and making sure we are always on the same page. I find it important to connect and establish not only a wonderful connection with the kids, but with the family as a whole. I tend to be very organized within my profession but with the maximum amount of fun, love, laughter, and care. Now being a parent myself, I am able to relate in many more ways to the families I work for.
