I LOVE children. I have been taking care of children for almost 30 years (both paid and volunteer) as a baby-sitter, swim instructor, teacher's assistant, Girl Scout leader, nursery room attendant, and most importantly as a mother of three. I have experience caring for multiple children, and cooking for and feeding children with severe food allergies. I am patient, honest, reliable, and organized. I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry with a focus in environmental science, and therefore have a strong desire to instill a love and appreciation of nature with children. My main goals as a child care-giver are to ensure a safe and happy environment, promote playing as learning, and to be an attentive listener. I enjoy reading, singing, making crafts, and spending time outdoors with children. I also know infant massage and baby sign language.
