Hello, my name is Sadie Cooper and I am a eighteen year old student currently attending UMass Boston. I originally am from Stoughton which is south of Boston, but now live in an apartment with three other roommates in Dorchester. I plan to major in Early Childhood Education in my time at UMass so I can achieve my goal of being a first grade teacher one day. I am looking for an opportunity to work with children while I am a student so that I can provide them with a loving and caring atmosphere while also applying the skills I am learning in their classroom. When I was about fourteen I found this sense of love for children. Ever since, I have babysat, nannied, and even became a counselor in training. Being a counselor at an overnight camp for 7 weeks entailed many things including leadership, guidance, and patience. I Read more serve as a role model to all campers I have worked with, and make it a point to encourage creativity, physical activity, learning and a positive attitude throughout the day.
