My name is Briana I am 24 years old. I am from Everett, Massachusetts. I am currently in school studying psychology and criminal justice and hope to have more clarity with my career goals once I finish my program. When I turned 14, I started watching my little cousins and realized how much I love children. I continued to babysit, and when I turned 17 I got my first job at an after school program where I took on an important role of caring for children from grades kindergarten to eighth grade. I have been at the same company for over 7 years. While being there I have become a full time group leader and an assistant site director. I have implemented hands on lessons and activities to engage children, and work on their fine and gross motor skills. Being apart of a child’s development is something I’m very passionate about it and may pursue a longterm career in one day. I simply love children and enjoy teaching them while also watching them grow along the way. My strengths as a nanny include being very responsible, patient, reliable and caring. I enjoy having fun while also incorporating education aspects into my work. It is important to encourage children to be creative and expand their horizons and I am grateful to be apart of that lifelong learning process. In my free time I love writing and reading poetry, traveling, adventures, music, and being around family and friends.
