I am one of six children, with one sister and four brothers. Growing up part of a big family, I learned the value and importance of responsibility. I love taking care of children, and have cared for multiple children at a time, ranging in age from 5 months to 12 years old. I started babysitting my freshman year of high school. The summer after my junior year of high school, I nannied for a woman with a 5 month old and a 3 year old. I watched the children from 7:30am-5pm while both of the parents were at work. My job consisted of feeding them, putting them down for naps, changing diapers, helping potty train, and occasionally driving them to places such as the library or the park. I am currently babysitting for a family with four children: ages 18 months, 4 years, 6 years , and 8 years old Read more (with autism). I watch them from 4pm-8pm two-three times a week. I change diapers, help with the homework, cook dinner, and put the kids to bed. I am also currently babysitting for a five year old and a 2 year old, 1-2 days a week. I watch them during the afternoons and sometimes on weekend nights. I pick up the five year old from the bus stop and cook the kids food and play with them. On top of my experience with babysitting, I also have experience pet sitting. I love animals, and hope to work with them as my profession when I am older. I have pet sit dogs and cats, dog walking and feeding and cleaning litter boxes etc. I think I am a great babysitter because I have a lot of patience with children from all of my experience, and am able to take care of infants and toddlers.
