Hi! My name is Marissa Greiner and I am currently enrolled as a nursing student at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I grew up on Cape Cod with four siblings and spent my early years fully enthralled in competitive gymnastics; which is where my love for child care began. From the ages of 13-15, I taught gymnastics classes to toddlers, preschool, and elementary level kids. Throughout the years I have babysat for neighbors, family friends, and the owners of my previous workplaces. The last two summers I have gained experience working a full time position as a nanny for the ages: 1 (boy), 2 (boy), 3 1/2 (girl), 4 1/2 (girl). I am looking to gain more experience and use what I’ve learned during my years coaching, in school, and as a nanny—to make a positive impact on the foundational years of children’s lives. Going into my third year of Read more nursing school, I have mastered the ability to balance school as well as my career and would appreciate the opportunity for a consistent part time job. I want to become either a pediatric or neonatal nurse and believe another years of experience in childcare would support this career path immensely. I am looking for a job in the Boston area during my upcoming school year starting September 7th, 2023.
