Hi, My name is Jeanne and I am a career nanny. I have been babysitting since age 12 (I come from a family of 13) and have been a full time nanny since 1992. Before that time, I often supplemented my income by babysitting, coaching and caring for children over special evenings and weekends. Before choosing to work with families in their home environment these past 32 years, I worked as a camp counselor, teacher, model, actress, server, and world traveler. I am comfortable with infants all the way through high school and college age kids. I enjoy coming along side parents and helping them with all that family life entails. I enjoy a positive environment in which to help raise and nurture children and their beloved pets. I have been employed by multiple south shore families over the years and have stayed on and remained loyal to each one Read more until it was time to go, usually due to children entering boarding school or college, thus the need for high level care was no longer urgent. I have been so spoiled by the families who have hired me in the past. We respect, honor, inspire and admire each other, it is the only kind of environment that nurtures all involved. I guess that is why I have stayed with a few of those families for more than 10 years each. It’s always challenging and difficult saying goodbye to the little people you have bonded with in their youth, however, it has balanced out and remained easy to say hello to new beginnings and magical times ahead.
