Looking for a kind, caring, friendly, intelligent and fun nanny/babysitter? Just a little info about me. I'm the oldest child of seven and was my family's primary babysitter. I became a paid babysitter at the age of thirteen and babysat until I went to college. After my first year at university I took a break year and was a live in nanny for a single mother and her two small children for a year. In my early twenties I moved to Ft Lauderdale where I was the daytime lifeguard and night nanny/babysitter for guests staying at the Sunrise Beach Hotel for two years. I moved to Boston to go back to school, BU, and my primary career after that was in hospitality management but I also kept my childcare career as a side business. I lived in with a couple and was the primary care giver for one year for Read more their two daughters and was the primary childcare provider for a little girl from the time she was six months old, starting in 2013, through now and at nine years old, I would still provide care for her if needed. I left the hospitality industry (except for a few small consultanting jobs) in 2019 and just do childcare now. Currently I'm working as a full time nanny in Jamaica Plain, Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 and I’ve been with the family for two days years and I also do occasional overnights for the 7 year old daughter of a doula. I’ve also done a very small amount of temporary night nurse work for infants and parents who need sleep. I’m infant and child CPR and First Aid certified. My hourly rate for one child is $25 an hour, $35 for a nanny share and $40 for night nurse. I am fully vaccinated and have been boosted twice but will be getting my third booster within the month. I am very Interested in doing some evening and weekend baby sitting as well.
