Hello! I'm Ivone. For many years, I have worked in the retail industry and held many hats. I am now looking to shift gears to something that is very dear to my heart: caring for children. I have two of my own, both who are now grown men. But for me, they will always be my kids... I'm sure the moms and dads out there know what I mean right!? Some of my favorite memories about raising my children was dressing them up, preparing a home cooked meal just the way they liked it, and taking them out to do different activities and seeing that big smile on their face! Well, while they are now able to choose their own outfits, and no longer subjected to the wonderful bowl cut I thought was in style ( oh boy!), I still love seeing the smile on their face when I get Read more to prepare them a favorite dish! What does this all mean for your family? I would ensure that the same care I've shown my children would be demonstrated to yours! I believe it is important to create an environment that encourages the child to bloom into who they are meant to be while providing guidance along the way. That being said, I believe communication is very important. I would want to get a good sense of your parenting style in order to ensure continuation and consistency in the child/children's day. What type of care could I provide? I enjoy driving and would be willing to do so in case your child/children have to get to and from activities. I also enjoy cooking and would be able to provide home cooked meals/snacks. I find it important to minimize stress for the parents and would make sure that any messes or toys would be put away and organized to what you would want it to be. Let's not forget the most important thing: SAFETY! I am CPR certified and would ensure that safety is at the forefront of anything your child does while in my care.
