My name is Sage Maggi and I am a current First-Year at Bucknell University. I’m a member of the Varsity Swim Team, President of the Executive Board of my dorm, and Marketing Chair of the Inter-Hall Residence Council. I also am a Swimming and Diving Representative in the Student-Athlete Advisory Council, and Orientation Assistant, and am a member of other various clubs on campus. I think the skills I possess that would benefit this position the most are that I am great with working in groups, I am opinionated and speak my mind, but I am also an active listener that really cares about others input and opinions. I think that being a good listener is just as important as conveying your own ideas, because it helps you to understand how others feel and make better, more informed decisions based off of multiple opinions. I am also very organized and Read more efficient with my work. I have learned time-management and the importance of doing a job right the first time from my experience as a swimmer, and translate this over into my academic life and my work. I have worked as a Swim Coach, Swim Instructor, and Lifegaurd as well as a babysitter. I love kids and am very caring and understanding. I love being active, biking, hiking, swimming, and playing sports. I work well with children because I can be a responsible adult as well as being relateable and friendly companion to kids.
