Dalila has been caring for our 15 month old daughter in a nanny-share arrangement with our friends’ son 3 weeks apart in age for the past nine months. We cannot say enough how much of a positive experience it has been working with Dalila as our children have grown and developed. She is very passionate and knowledgeable in the areas of child development and education and has gently counseled us and guided us through the various hurdles, transitions and milestones of being first-time parents. Our children absolutely adore her and greet her with big hugs and kisses each morning upon her arrival. She is very active with them and ensures that they get outside at least once on a daily basis with planned trips to local libraries, museums and parks. She engages them in the arts with planned crafts and musical activities on a regular basis as well. Dalila’s approach with our children has been very calming, nurturing and gentle while at the same time drawing clear boundaries to instill a sense of discipline. She is extremely patient with the kids even at trying times when they have been irritable due to sickness or teething. She has been very respectful of all our wishes and requests and has worked with us to ensure that our children are meeting developmental milestones and are well-mannered/behaved. Dalila has always been extremely reliable and punctual giving us ample notice for any requested time off. In addition, she has been very flexible and accommodating in balancing the needs and requests of both families, always with a very calm and professional demeanor. It has been an absolute pleasure having Dalila in our lives!

Dalila is currently a wonderful nanny for our son and our friend’s daughter (both 14 months) whom she takes care of together as part of our nanny share arrangement. She began caring for them when they were 6/7 months old, they are 3 weeks apart in age. As with children this age they go through many changes, developmental milestones, and transitions and as new parents Dalila has been a great resource for us to help navigate these changes. She’s very knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive of the parent’s wishes. She’s also been very active with the children, as they got older they make daily trips (after clearing with the parents of course) to the Boston Public Library, Children’s Museum, Aquarium, and local parks. In addition she makes crafts with the kids and is constantly working on their development by engaging them in some manner (reading, singing, dancing, pretend play, sharing etc.). Each parent has a demanding work schedule and Dalila has consistently been timely and very reliable, rarely requesting a day off work and when she does she provides ample notice. As you can imagine managing two families and two homes (we rotate locations each week) can be a daunting task but Dalila has handled it with ease. Dalila has been a wonderful addition to our families since the first day, the children adore her and are excited to see her each morning!
