I spent 13 years of my life teaching children from kindergarten to elementary school. In fact, the teaching profession chose me because before I started my work at school I thought I would do architecture, because I like art, design and creating things with my hands, skills that I also developed during my professional life at school with my students. When I started my work at school as an assistant teacher at the daycare center, I recognized that there was my place because a connection between the children's needs and what I could do to help them develop their talents and overcome their challenges was very natural. It was then that I enrolled in the teaching course to get my certificate in Education and more knowledge to give more quality of teaching to children who have the most important and essential demands to be a healthy adult. Shortly after completing Read more my teaching course, I became a full professor of pre-school and I graduated in History where I was able to meet many other subjects that I like, politics, art, philosophy, and of course, critical thinking to transform the world. Being a teacher is part of who I am, it is a passion to see lives being transformed by the motivation to learn and the desire to be better. During all these years I have realized that I have a natural talent for dealing with the needs of my students, not only those with special learning needs, but also those with difficulties in relating and interacting with others. Teaching in Pre-School and Elementary School gave me the knowledge to deal with different types of challenges, to advise students and parents and to show that challenges can be overcome when we take the first step towards our goals and that the work done with dedication and respect for the individual differences of each student and family make all the difference in the student's life, family, school and society.
